Terms & Conditions

  1. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS.

Valeanto’s provides certain warranties relating to our products sold through our website and direct sales, that such products will be free from certain defects for a period of one (1) year from date of receipt. These warranties are subject to exclusions, limitations and restrictions as provided herein. 

If you believe you have a warranty claim within the specified warranty period relating to a defect your product, please email photos of your Product with a brief description of the defect to servicing@valeanto.com  

Our customer service team will review the information you provide and determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether your warranty claim is covered by our warranty policy as provided herein. 

  1. Glass Seal Warranty – Valeanto’s offers a warranty to the manufacturer seal of glass in its Products.  If such manufacturer seal defect occurs within one (1) year from the date of delivery to the Customer, please email photos with a brief description of the defect to servicing@valeanto.com . 

We do not warranty any other defects as it relates to glass, including but not limited to, scratched or broken glass, and glass that has been cleaned with foreign chemicals that cause seal/silicone failures. 

  1. Finish Warranty - Valeanto’s will guarantee our finish from peeling, fading free of charge for a period of one (1) year from the delivery date to customer. 

Customer acknowledges and agrees the following are not defects in any finish to products and shall be excluded from any warranty coverage: damage to the finish which may  occurs  during unloading or improper cleaning during construction caused; drying or cracking due to use of foreign chemicals, hose water (pressured water),sticking elements and/or acidic water.



  1. EXCLUSIONS, LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.
    Valeanto’s warranties do not cover and specifically exclude the following:
  • Normal wear and tear from use of Valeanto’s Products, including, but not limited to, door, door hardware, window hardware, hinges, weather stripping, and factory finish.
  • The installation or use of additional third party or aftermarket products, including window films, screens, hardware, and locks.
  • Any failures due to accident, misuse, abuse, alteration, faulty building. construction or exposure to the elements without proper finishing.
  • Any failures due to improper handling, storage, installation, maintenance.
  • Any type of corrosive elements.
  • Damage to products caused by other trades during construction for any reason, including, but not limited to, due to improper cleaning, installation, taping, paint, dry walling, rendering, sanding.
  • Misuse, abuse of the door, such as use of corrosive substances, stickers, sticking tape, or any other sticking & wrapping products which contain sticky substances that can be difficult to remove if kept on for several days which may cause harm to the door surface.
  • Wrapping the door after installation is not recommended if the wrap is intended to remain for more than 1 week as this can cause a build up of moisture under the wrap & due to lack of ventilation can cause the paint to bubble leading to pealing.
  • Damage resulting from acts of vandalism, fire, flood, natural disasters.
  •  Any modifications or alterations made to the doors by the customer or any third party not authorized by the Company.

 

  1. CAD DRAWINGS.

Overview:

At Valeanto's Iron Doors, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. As part of this commitment, we provide our customers with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings for door designs before production. The purpose of this guidance is to outline the steps and responsibilities involved in the approval process to ensure that the door  meets your expectations.

CAD Drawing Approval Process:

Customer Request:

    • Upon selecting a door design please ensure to provide precise dimensions of your door opening. In cases where a survey is not conducted by Valeanto Ltd , we cannot assume responsibility for any discrepancies if the door does not align with the provided measurements.
    • Our design team will create a CAD drawing for your review.

CAD Drawing Submission:

  • The CAD drawing will be sent to you via email or another agreed-upon communication method for your review.

Customer Review:

  • It is crucial that you carefully review the CAD drawing . We appreciate your choice in selecting Valeanto's Iron Doors for your bespoke door design. To facilitate a smooth and satisfactory experience, we kindly request your diligent attention to the following , when reviewing the CAD drawing:

Dimensions; 

Colour;

Glass Type;

Model & Design; [Thoroughly inspect the  design to ensure it reflects the aesthetic and style you envision]

Opening Direction;

Lock type

Any accessories specified in the drawing.

Approval or Revisions:

  • If the CAD drawing aligns with your requirements, the e-sign version will be sent to you for signing.
  • If revisions are needed, clearly specify the changes required and communicate them to our team.

Final Confirmation after Revision:

  • A final CAD drawing, incorporating approved changes, will be sent for your confirmation.

Production Commencement:

  • Production will commence after receiving the signed CAD drawing and  the agreed 2 nd payment . 

 

Remember, your approval of the CAD drawing is a crucial step in the production process. Your attention to detail at this stage ensures the final product is crafted to perfection. 

Please be advised that once you provide an approval for the CAD drawing, the  production stage commences, and no further changes can be accommodated. We appreciate your understanding and attention to detail during this  process.

  1. RETURN POLICY FOR STOCK PURCHASES

For purchased stock doors [no installation]:

Within 14 [ fourteen days]  from the date of purchase and prior to installation or any attempted installation, your purchase can be returned to Valeanto’s for a refund. you must agree to and comply with the following return policy requirements.  Failure to do so will preclude you from returning any product.

  1. You must contact Valeanto’s at info@valeanto.com to obtain your Return Form (RF) form. Products cannot be returned without the form.
  2. ALL ORIGINAL CRATING AND PACKAGING MATERIAL MUST BE KEPT AND USED FOR ANY RETURNS.

iii. The Product must be undamaged and remain in the exact condition it was delivered.

  1. Customers will be responsible for all costs for return shipping and assume all liability for any damages incurred during the return transit.
  2. Product(s) must be shipped back to us and received by Valeanto’s prior to shipment of any new products (No cross shipping).
  3. A twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will be charged for all returns or exchanges, and Valeanto’s has the right to refuse any return or charge additional amounts for any damages that may have occurred to the Product(s).

vii. Delivery fees are not refundable.

viii. Refunds will be issued by the same method of payment used for the original purchase.

Bespoke Doors , made to measure doors:

In the event that a bespoke door does not match the agreed CAD drawing description and agreed specifications, we offer a return policy for a replacement or refund.

  1. INSTALLATION

Paragraph I

Installation Terms & Conditions

  1. Standard Installation starts from £500 plus VAT. Standard Installation term is explained below in paragraph II.

  2. For customers who have purchased bespoke or made to measure doors, the installation will be scheduled upon completion of the final door balance payment.

  3. Installation dates are scheduled from Monday to Friday. If a customer prefers weekend installation, an additional charge will be applied. The quote will be provided prior to the installation.

  4. For customers who have purchased any doors, and require installation , with property outside of 40 miles radius from our Harlow warehouse -  CM19 5TL , there will be an additional charge of £1 per mile round trip.

Paragraph II

Explanation of the Term - “Standard Installation” & “Cosmetic Work”

 

The “Standard Installation” - Fitting services upon request of the customer of the purchased door into the door opening,  with all its accessories and hardware making sure that the door is fully functional. 

 

The “Standard Installation” does not cover cosmetic work upon completed installation such as patching, painting and trim installation or any other work defined below as cosmetic work.

 

The “Cosmetic Work” term explanation -  This refers to any aesthetic or surface-related improvements or adjustments that may be performed to enhance the visual appearance of the door area after the “Standard Installation” is finished. This could include tasks such as painting, polishing, caulking, or any other activities aimed at refining the look of the installed door to meet desired aesthetic standards. It involves addressing superficial aspects to ensure the door area looks well-finished and visually pleasing.




Paragraph III

The customers responsibilities prior to the “Standard Installation”

 

Prior to the “Standard Installation” the customer is responsible for the door opening preparation and the removal of the existing door.

Before installation, customers should ensure the following:

  • The door opening is clean and free from debris.

  • The installation team has unobstructed access to the door opening. Ensure clear and safe pathways leading to the door installation site. Remove any obstacles, clutter, or items that may impede the installation team's access.

  • The door opening access is not restricted by vehicles, combustibles, skips, or any other items.

  • If the installation site is challenging to locate, clear instructions should be provided to the office team by the customer.

Other things to consider prior to installation services:

  • Secure Pets: If there are pets on the property, make arrangements to keep them secure and away from the installation area to prevent any interference or safety concerns.
  • Temporary Protection of Installation area: Consider covering furniture, floors, or sensitive items with protective materials to prevent potential damage or dust accumulation during the installation.

 

Paragraph IV

Explanation of the term “Enhanced Installation Services “

Enhanced installation services are defined as any additional  services to the “ Standard Installation” [For definition see Paragraph II] The enhanced installation services  are offered upon customers request and typically offered at an additional cost. 

The cost of enhanced installation services will be calculated individually for each case, as every situation is unique, and a customised quote will be prepared for customers.

Valeanto reserves the right to refuse the provision of enhanced installation services, as these services are subject to consultation and assessment. While we strive to accommodate our customers' needs to the best of our ability, certain factors such as the complexity of the installation, site conditions, or technical constraints encourage potential customers to engage in consultation and assessment discussions with our team to determine the suitability and feasibility of such services for their specific requirements. Our priority is to provide a high-quality and reliable service that meets the expectations of our customers while ensuring the safety and integrity of our installations.



Enhanced installation services are as follows [The list is not exhaustive and is subjected to regular reviews]:

 

  1. Existing Door Removal

  2. Brick Removal: If your door opening requires any brick removal or modification, this will be considered as extra work.

  3. Preparing the Door Opening; this involves any necessary adjustments or modifications to the door opening.

  4. Cosmetic Touch-Ups: After the door installation is complete, it is common for minor cosmetic touch-ups to be required. These may include painting, caulking, or other finishing touches to ensure a seamless integration of the new door. Please note that any extra cosmetic touch-ups will be considered additional work and will be charged separately. The cosmetic work will not be performed during the day of installation. 

  5. Other Building Terms: During the installation process, certain building terms may arise, such as the need for additional framing, reinforcement, or adjustments to the surrounding structure. These tasks are not included in the standard installation service and will be treated as extra work. 

 

We strive to provide transparent pricing and ensure that you are aware of any additional charges associated with extra work. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.

Installation cancellation or rescheduling:

In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling of the installation appointment, kindly inform us at the earliest opportunity . A cancellation fee may apply if adequate notice is not provided.

  1. PRICES 

Quotation: The cost of the door plus installation fee will be provided to you in a detailed quotation before commencing the work.

Payment Terms: Payment for the doors and  installation services shall be made as per the agreed-upon terms mentioned in the quotation.

  1. All prices listed on our website or provided through quotations are exclusive of (VAT) unless stated otherwise.
  2. If applicable , the VAT amount will be clearly indicated on your invoice, and it complies with the applicable tax regulations in UK

Payment Methods:

  1. Bank Transfer: We accept payments via bank transfer. A customer will be provided with an invoice with our bank account details for the payment. The payment must be made as per agreed amount specified in quotation.
  2. Stripe Payments: We also accept payments through Stripe, a secure online payment gateway. You can use major credit or debit cards supported by Stripe to make the payment.
  3. Please note that card payments are subject to fees imposed by the card providers. These fees vary depending on the type of card used ; as such, additional charges may apply to cover processing fees associated with card transactions. 

Payment Security:

  1. For bank transfers, it is essential to ensure that you input the correct payment details, including the invoice number, to ensure smooth processing.
  2. For Stripe payments, all transactions are encrypted and processed securely. Your credit or debit card information will not be stored by us.

Currency:

  1. Our prices and transactions are conducted in British Pounds, which will be indicated on your invoice.
  2. For international orders, the final amount may be subject to currency conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations, depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

Maintenance:

Maintaining your Valeanto iron door is relatively simple. Regularly clean the door’s surface using a mild soap and water solution to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents , strong chemicals that could damage the finish.

 

Acknowledgment of “ Terms and Conditions”:

 

By accessing and/or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. 

 

Furthermore, you acknowledge that you have familiarized yourself with the definitions provided in this document  and expectations established between you and VALEANTO’S IRON DOORS.
